Renanthera monachica

$40.00

A pretty species from the Philippines also know as the Spanish Dancing Girl. This species is one of the smaller-growing Renanthera and produces spectacular spikes of large star-shaped orange flowers overlaid with blood-red polka dots.

This is a large‑sized species that thrives in conditions similar to Vandas - warm to hot temperatures with bright light, good humidity, constant air movement and frequent watering. Will do well mounted on tree fern fibre or in open baskets which let the roots dry out between watering.

  • The photos of the flowers are for reference only. The other photo is an example of the size of the plant for sale (7 cm basket).

  • Note also that because the seedling is from a cross, all the plants will have slightly different flowers.
