This spectacular cross by Sunset Valley Orchids, registered as Clowesetum Somnis, combines the best traits of both parents - fragrance and frilly lips of Clowesia Grace Dunn ‘Live Oak' and the spectacular flower count and arrangement of Catasetum ivaneae. Catasetums are relatively easy to grow but you need to be careful to follow their natural growth cycle. Spring: When new growth appears, do not water until roots are well-developed. Active Growth: Once roots are established, water generously and fertilise regularly. Autumn Dormancy: Reduce watering as leaves yellow; stop completely when leaves have fallen.
