Also known as the Ornate Bulbophyllum, this small-sized Bulbophyllum is native to Northeast India where it grows in bushes along streams. It produces 3-5 flowers in clusters at the end of long stems - each one 10cm long with the most intricate details on the lip.
It grows best in intermediate to warm conditions, shade, high humidity and needs constant moisture around its roots (they don't like to dry out). Like most bulbophyllums, it has a short root system so does well growing on a tree-fern slab, basket or in a shallow saucer.
