Brassavola nodosa
Commonly known as “The Lady of the Night”.
This easy-to-grow orchid has long-lasting creamy-green flowers that produce a wonderful fragrance in the evening that can fill the growing area. It’s often commonly used in Cattleya breeding, but is well worth the space in your collection in its own right.
Grows best in conditions similar to Cattleyas - intermediate conditions, bright diffuse light, good air movement and medium humidity. Also suitable for mounting on tree fern fibre or similar.
